No Room For Him

Joseph and Mary seek shelter from the cold and dark,
After on this long journey they did embark.
From inn to inn, they sought shelter that night,
But no innkeeper could this king invite.

Are you like the innkeeper that had no room?
Are you unaware of your impending doom?
Our Lord and King came to us in a stable,
Will you choose to let Him in, if you are able?

The time has passed and He seeks shelter in our hearts,
That is where His salvation power starts.
He came from the stable and traveled to the cross,
He came so that we would not suffer eternal loss.

He knocks upon your heart’s door,
He wants to know you forever more.
Come to the door and let Him enter in,
And cleanse your heart from sin.

Is It Well With You?

Is it well with high and crashing swell?
Is He there when you are down and fail?
The pain so deep and seems to have no cure,
Is the place you are standing sure?

For life has many storms and pains,
But with life in Christ, your soul gains.
Lay the burdens down at the cross,
To gain what by sin was lost.

My soul sings the praise of my Savior,
For a new life and a new behavior.
Let the things of this mortal life go,
And have eternal life. I know.

My heart hurts for those in pain,
I want them to know of what I have gained.
For Christ has died our souls to save,
And rise above the power of the grave.

Listen Long And Hard

Listen long and hard,
And your heart guard.
For there will be a day,
That Jesus calls us away.

The Savior calls out to you,
What will you do?
For the end will come some day,
Will you be the one to the rocks pray?

God loved us all in our wretched state,
But our sin He does hate.
He could have left us behind,
But He chose not to leave us blind.

Listen to the life that set the example,
And evidence in His Word is ample.
Life in Him is the best,
And He will enter at your request.

Weight of the World

You had the weight of the world on Your back,
You gave all and nothing did You lack.
This weight we could not bear alone,
But You did and by Your blood atone.

When we feel like it is all too much,
We can ask for the Savior's touch.
He told us that He is there to share,
These burdens that we so often bear.

The weight of the cross was on Your back,
You knew that we would fall, and get off track.
You gave Your life, no questions asked,
To speak of You, is what we are tasked.

Your strength far greater than Atlas,
Changing our flesh, so into eternity we can pass.
You have given us a cross to bear,
When we are overwhelmed, You do care.

Trading Temporal For Eternal

Temporal things pass and fade,
But I have chosen a far better trade.
Eternal things will be there when all is gone,
And all that is unknown will be known.

When I let go of all that is dust,
In my heart, my God will I trust.
My eternal state far greater,
Saved from the eternal devastator.

I will show you what He gave to me,
I will show you how He set me free.
I am covered by the blood of my Savior,
I have a new attitude and a new behavior.

Leave all the temporal things behind,
And in Christ, true joy and peace you will find.
When all has passed through the flame,
Will you only be left with your name?

Bring people to the One, Who can save,
So they will not be to sin a slave.
People are dying and lost,
Will you save them at any cost?

For Him

I run this race not for gold,
And for proclaiming my Savior, bold.
He gives me strength to run the race,
And all I want to do is seek His face.

Anything I have when the race is finished,
In Your presence is diminished.
Cast the crowns and all rewards,
Do not store things this world affords.

God, You deserve all the praise,
And I commit myself to You all my days.
You are my Guide and King,
You are my all, my everything.

Finish well, for the sake of the cross,
And before Him, my rewards I will toss.
Stand strong, stand tall,
For my God is over all.

What Is This World Coming To?

It is not a question of "What is this world coming to?", but the fact that it is the world has been in sin since the beginning of Creation. We have had so many horrible things happen in the past few decades that I can attest to, and even things before I was born. Some people only make things worse when they dishonor those that have either been through a tragedy or that have fought for our freedom. Sin is the root cause of all this, and there is nothing else that we can call it. People need to open their eyes to see what is going on, and not looking the other way.
Jesus came to the world to seek and to save. He is sad that we have chosen to go our own way and even for those that have chosen to cause these grievous tragedies. Jesus knows all the things that we have gone through, so there is nothing that is new to Him. We are not alone in this world, because Jesus loves us and He wants us to know His love and new life.

The world is lost in hate and war,
And wondering what they are here for.
Sin has blinded them to their need,
Forgetting the need because of their greed.

People are dying and lying in despair,
Who is there for me and who does care?
People crying because of the shame,
When themselves are all to blame.

What am I doing for the lost and hurt?
Am I walking the other way and their lives desert?
I should gather them and let them know,
That my Savior, is the way of life to go.

Bullets blazing past and many falling down in the fire,
I know that I have salvation and my utterance does require.
Reach out to the world wide,
And let not your Light hide.

Please remember those that have fallen in Aurora, Colorado, as well as those that have fallen in the ongoing fight for freedom at home and abroad. Please pray that people will come to know Christ amongst all these horrible things.

Fed and Fulfilled

So you hunger for something more,
Amidst the poverty and war.
I know of someone more filling than food,
He is a Savior, loving and good.

He fed the many long ago,
But He still does it today, I know.
For on many occasions, He did great and mighty things,
And for our salvation, endured trials and sufferings.

His power far greater than our own,
Is throughout Creation known.
To say that you see not these things,
Only to yourself judgment brings.

Feed upon the Word of God divine,
And know fulfillment in Him sublime.
I know my Savior and all He has to give,
And I am thankful to in His presence daily live.

Walking in the Footsteps

I walked alone for a long while,
I walked with a frown, not a smile.
I walked the barren wasteland,
I walked alone and did not understand.

I walked till I found,
A pathway that took me to higher ground.
I am walking in the footsteps of the Savior,
I am walking with a new attitude and new behavior.

I am walking hand in hand with my Savior,
And with salvation has given me favor.
If I had traveled on my own,
Who knows where I could have gone?

So don't walk alone life's road,
And don't carry sin's heavy load.
Walk the road ahead with the Savior,
And know that He can change your behavior.

I AM

I AM, Who I say that I am,
This is the truth and not a scam.
I AM, and always will be,
The One who has come to set you free.

I AM, waiting on your call,
Because I am the One who can see you through it all.
I AM, looking forward to your potential,
Because salvation for eternal life is essential.

I AM, the way, the truth, and the life,
And I will see you through this earthly strife.
I AM, the One that will lead the way,
And will take care of you day by day.

I AM, looking forward to My return,
Because I for my bride do yearn.
I AM, going to return at the time appointed,
And you will see the One Anointed.

I AM, your Savior and your King,
And to all believing, new life I bring.
I AM, broken and bruised,
When by the lost accused.

I AM, speaking, will you hear?
Or will you be surprised when I reappear?
I AM, God, will you be ready?
When all around are unsteady.

Found

I once was lost in the sea of men,
Knowing nothing of my sin.
All I sought was like the desert sand,
With one strong wind it was blown from my hand.

The darkness had covered my eyes,
And I had chosen to believe sin's lies.
For I had chosen to care for myself,
And so I put the Bible back on the shelf.

We all have gone astray,
And have only cared for our own way.
For we were all once lost to sin,
And we did not know the trouble we were in.

My Savior found me when I was lost,
He knew the price and paid the cost.
He the Shepherd sought me out,
And He removed my heart's doubt.

Gifts Unmeasurable

We all thinks that we deserve gifts, but do we really deserve anything. I would equate gifts with blessings, because we are daily blessed. It calls to mind the old hymn, Count Your Blessings. In the hymn it says to, name them one by one. Thanks to a post of a friend, from our front porch looking in, I am following suit by naming the many gifts that I have been given.

1. My Savior
2. My salvation
3. My family (Mom, Dad, and my sisters)
4. My wife
5. My son
6. My daughter
7. My home (house, the roof over my head)
8. My health
9. My job
10. My freedom

These are a few of the many gifts that I have been blessed with. I would like to hear from others about the gifts that you have been blessed with. Leave in the comments.

What My Saviour Can Do

All I have gained in this life,
At times has caused me strife.
But when I give it to God above,
He tells me the story of His love.

His love so full and free,
Has cause my blinded eyes to see.
What once was lost has now been found,
And angels rejoicing gather round.

For they rejoice for what my Savior can do,
That He, my Savior could endure what they put Him through.
Though beaten, bruised, and crucified,
It was for sinner's soul, He died.

The Best Decision You Will Ever Make

Love poured out on the cross,
And our Savior knew the cost.
We knew that this was a price that we could not pay,
But our Savior did it long ago on this day.

If our souls were not in need,
Then there would be no need to be freed.
We in our flesh know not the missing part,
But Christ knew the need of the human heart.

Saved by His blood alone,
He can for our sins atone.
My heart is an empty place,
Until Christ fill the empty space.

My Savior is alive and well,
He has the power over death and Hell.
He waits for you and me,
To make the decision to become free.

The Resurrection is Real

People are always trying to find evidence to support the Resurrection, but the fact remains that tomb is empty. If people were so interested in disproving the Resurrection, then you would think that they would have found something by now to disprove it. No matter how much anybody tries to disprove it; the fact remains that in God's Word; it is spoken of in the Gospels: Matthew 28:1-10, Mark 16:1-14, Luke 18:31-34, 24:1-12, and John 20:1-18. Even David has been given the foresight of things long before Christ came to earth in Psalm 16:8-11. For those that deny the Resurrection of Christ, please know that Christ has risen, and that is why we celebrate on this day, not because of some pagan ritual.

You say my Savior is dead,
But when He rose He crushed the serpent's head.
Though sin's burden was a heavy load,
He carried it up Calvary's Road.

You say my Savior did not rise,
And you say that all His words are lies.
My God and Savior reigns on high,
And He for my sins did die.

You say that Heaven and Hell are not real,
That we will not be judged for the way we feel.
My God has given us a choice,
And He has told us to proclaim salvation with a loud voice.

I say that your life is incomplete,
Until my Savior you meet.
For He cares for our soul's need,
And He is Risen, Praise the Lord, indeed.

Are You Prepared?

Jesus shall come again soon,
Will your soul be in tune?
Or when in glory be denied,
We say we knew Him, we have lied.

The time we have is fading fast,
When you are gone, will your testimony last?
The message we bring is of great importance,
Because we all shall be judged in His presence.

The day of His return approaches,
And the end of time encroaches.
Do I know Him, as my Savior?
Or will you be dismissed for bad behavior?*

Consider His bleeding sacrifice,
Because your good works will not suffice.
For we are not our own,
But by Him, every part known.

* bad behavior- sin and the rejection of salvation

Inward Battle

The war rages on inside of you and me,
The fight for my soul to be free.
The enemy tries to turn our hearts aside,
And he in darkness will hide.

I stand here in my fleshly pride,
I think that I need not in Him confide.
For if I stand here in my pride,
And me without God would have died.

So long to all the flesh can afford,
So that Christ, my Savior can be adored.
If I gain nothing in this life,
But Christ, the peace amongst the strife.

My Life's Gain

"But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith."(Philippians 3:7-9)

All I gain, I count as loss,
In the light of my Savior's death on the cross.
Much more to gain, in Him I find,
Than to be in sin, and my eyes blind.

Give me but Christ and Him alone,
For He is the only One for who my sins can atone.
Let me the world forsake,
And the message of Christ to the world take.

Though the world turn their heart,
And I with His message to them impart.
Look not to the worldly wise,
Because in the end they will not rise.

Give me the blood of my Lord crucified,
For He is my Savior, though by some He be denied.
Though I bring few unto Heaven's shore,
I hope only to know You more.

What Are You Seeking This Christmas?

Have we forgotten the reason for Christmas? I think we have, because we have been brainwashed by the commercialization of the holidays. There are other holidays that this happened too. The two holidays that it has hurt the most are Easter and Christmas. Easter is not about bunnies and eggs; it is about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christmas is not about Santa, Christmas trees, and gifts; it's about the birth of Jesus Christ. It is also about bringing our families together to remember why we celebrate these holidays.

What are you seeking this Christmas? The reason I ask this question is because we all get caught up the newest electronics, clothes, and even for the kids, toys. I want to emphasize the importance of seeking the real reason of Christmas and celebrating our Savior's birth. Seek the Savior and you will find salvation. This is a gift that you can share with anyone, and it will make their Christmas special. Your soul is important to God. Remember that Jesus is the Reason for the Season.

Who is this King of Glory?

“Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.”(Psalms 24:8)

This King of glory is Jesus Christ, and no one else can claim that title, except Him. None of the kings of kingdom's past can claim that title, and none of the kings of present and future kingdoms will hold that title either. If someone that has just recently become a Christian cannot explain who Jesus is; then are they really saved? God's Word is more than just a history or fairytale book that some would call it. The Word of God is a living book that speaks absolute truth. Yes, there is absolute truth. I would not say if I did not believe it. All who seek comfort in other things are seeking after vane things. God has sent a Comforter. This life is not about comfort, but He is there in those times of hopelessness. We need to look at all our circumstances and know that He is there.

To those of you that would like to stay oblivious to your eternal destination; there is a Hell, and if you do not accept Christ as your personal Savior; then that is where you will end up. Your attempts at being good and trying to improve the human condition are nothing but filthy rags in the sight of God. The only One that can improve the human condition is Christ. We are sinners, and yes, you are a sinner too. Once you recognize that you are sinner; then you have your eyes opened to what you are in need of, a Savior. Jesus can save anyone, a drunkard, a prostitute, an adulterer, a drug abuser, etc. We are more than just physical, moral beings; we are spiritual beings. Even to the Jehovah's Witnesses, the only way that you can be happy is in Christ and Him alone. Man tries to come up with step by step programs to fix the human condition, but that is only a temporary fix. The Word of God gives you everything that you need to know about who we are, who He is, and what He is able to do in our lives; if we are only willing to let Him change our lives.

Some people believe that God was not capable of creating the universe that we inhabit. They all say that it was a thing of chance. There are many things out there that we do not understand yet, but when God wants us to know He will open our eyes. It is recorded in Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth." The Bible did not say in the beginning something just exploded and everything was in perfect order. My question to you, How does order come out of chaos? Chaos has never brought order. I believe that God took seven days to create all that we see. What little brains that I have; I am amazed at all that God did in seven days. No man could accomplish what God did in seven days. If you need to understand Creation; there is a person that can help you find answers in Genesis, Ken Ham.

http://www.answersingenesis.org

If you are not satisfied with the answers that you find there; then go directly to the Word of God. I am trying to lead you in the right direction not mislead you. All the answers that man supposedly has will only lead to feeling even more lost.
